In the News: West campus transforming into tech R&D hub

Columbus CEO Magazine recently profiled Ohio State's west campus innovation district. Keith Myers, vice president of Planning, Architecture and Real Estate, told the publication that the reframed research park plan calls for the construction of 9 million to 12 million square feet of projects on the campus during the next 20 years or more.

Plans for three buildings have been announce including the Interdisciplinary Research Facility, Energy Advancement and Innovation Center and the Wexner Medical Center West Campus Ambulatory Facilities.

“The Interdisciplinary Research Facility and Energy Advancement and Innovation Building will support Ohio State’s strategic plan by creating hubs for groundbreaking, interdisciplinary research and fostering collaborative and innovative research that addresses society’s biggest challenges,” Provost Burce McPheron told Columbus CEO.
