Columbus Business First recounted the career achievements of Keith Myers in a recent article published ahead of his June 30 retirement. In the article, Ohio State's vice presdient of Planning, Architecture and Real Estate discusses how he started his career desigining theme parks and ended it protecting and rejuvinating campus landmarks like Mirror Lake.
Myers, who made a huge impact on Central Ohio through projects like the Arena District and Scioto Mile, came to Ohio State in 2012 after a successful career in the private sector. He will be replaced by Amanda Hoffsis beginning July 1, but will continue to assist the university by serving on its Design Review Board. He will also chair the Rapid 5 project.
"If there is stuff left undone, I'm trying to address it with Rapid 5," Myers told Business First. "I really am interested in these waterways through Central Ohio, and in developing a major regional park system."
