The Ohio State University is in the process of selling two properties along Dublin-Granville Road. The properties (3455 and 2575 Dublin Granville Road) were deemed to be no longer needed within Ohio State’s strategic plans. The university is under contract for the sale through the PARE real estate team as the buyers work through their due diligence.
As reported by Columbus Business First, the 2575 parcel is slated for development of apartments and townhouses on the land formerly used for cattle grazing by Ohio State.
This sale continues progress toward the university’s goal to relocate the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) activities from land surrounding the airport. The Waterman - Multispecies Animal Learning Center (MALC) facility will enhance teaching and outreach programs on the Columbus campus and expand interdisciplinary collaborations for the CFAES. The project, currently under construction, will eventually relocate the rest of the airport herds to Waterman Agricultural and Natural Resources Laboratory. This shift also supports the approved master plan for the Don Scott Airport.
