The Ohio State University Board of Trustees on Thursday approved a plan to develop a Commercialization and Entrepreneurship Center in the Carmenton district.
The building will be located near the Pelotonia Research Center and Energy Advancement and Innovation Center. SciTech, an affiliated real estate entity of the university, will develop the five-story, approximately 120,000-square-foot multitenant building supporting research and technology uses.

Columbus Business First highlighted the recent opening of the Energy Advancement and Innovation Center.
As mentioned in the article, the nearly transparent building is a hub for research on renewable energy, smart energy systems and green mobility. Faculty and students will rub shoulders with entrepreneurs leading spinoffs and engineers from large corporations.
