Columbus Business First recently highlighted how Carmenton will help the university compete with top research institutions nationwide.
"MIT, Stanford University and Johns Hopkins University, either have or are constructing the same type of mixed-use development innovation districts as Carmenton," said Amanda Hoffsis, vice president of Ohio State's Planning, Architecture and Real Estate department.
Carmenton began as a vision shared between The Ohio State University, the City of Columbus and JobsOhio and has received $900 million of public and private investment to date.
