The new wing will form an enclosure to the space and create a quadrangle for student use as well as special events.

Keith Myers, vice president of Planning, Architecture and Real Estate, told the publication that the reframed research park plan calls for the construction of 9 million to 12 million square feet of projects on the campus during the next 20 years or more.
Plans for three buildings have been announce including the Interdisciplinary Research Facility, Energy Advancement and Innovation Center and the Wexner Medical Center West Campus Ambulatory Facilities.
